WILMINGTON, Del. -- United in marriage April 28 were Noel Gibson Bayard and Thomas Richard Morelli, both of Boston, who exchanged vows before the Rev. John Martiner at 5 p.m. at Christ Church.
The daughter of James and Frances Bayard of Wilmington and the son of Paul and Eileen Morelli of Canfield later received guests at the Vicmeade Hunt Club of Wilmington before leaving on their honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii.
They live in Charlestown, Mass.
Mrs. Morelli graduated from Wake Forest University and Wake Forest Medical School in Winston-Salem, N.C., as a physician's assistant. She works in general surgery at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass.
A graduate of Colgate University in Hamilton, N.Y., with a degree in political science, Mr. Morelli is a vice president in institutional sales with Pioneer Investments in Boston.
The bride wore a strapless ivory silk gown accented by a lace waistband and elbow-length veil.
The bride's sister, Elise Bradford Bayard of Wilmington, was honor attendant. She wore a coral dress, as did the bridesmaids, Mary Licia Morelli of Charlottesville, Va., the groom's sister; Kelly Boblett Griffith of Greensboro, N.C.; Joy Martin of Hoboken, N.J.; and Carrie Worthen of North Andover, Mass. Flower girls were Frances and Taylor Bernstein of Wilmington.
Best man was Paul James Morelli of Boston, the groom's brother. Groomsmen were Timothy McNeil of Warren, the groom's cousin; Vince Cruz of Tampa, Fla.; and Joe Kasztejna and Ian Prisuta, both of Brighton, Mass.
Also participating were Christina Larsen of Whitefish, Mont., and Jill Anderson of Boston, the groom's sister-in-law.
