GASTONIA, N.C. -- Erin K. Parzych and Christopher John Besoiu, both of 29831 Seth Court, were united in marriage by the Rev. Jerry Millwood Jr. during a 6 p.m. ceremony May 26 at Greene's Westside Chapel.
A reception was held afterward at Milano's for the daughter of James A. Parzych, 2643 Cora Ave., Cincinnati, and Linda K. Parsons, 6299 Royston Road, Eaton Rapids, Mich., and the son of John and Marilyn Besoiu, 1304 Northfield Drive, Mineral Ridge.
The bride's sleeveless white gown was designed with a full skirt that swept into a chapel train.
Pale-pink gowns were worn by Abbie Parzych of Jackson, Mich., the bride's sister and honor attendant, and the bridesmaids, Amanda Parzych, her sister, and Katie Sharrock, her cousin, both of Cincinnati.
Best man was the groom's father, and groomsmen were his brothers, David and Eric Besoiu, all of Mineral Ridge. Guests were ushered by Donald Tucker of Gastonia.
The bride and groom graduated from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science, where she earned an associate degree in applied science and he received a bachelor's in mortuary science. He is a licensed funeral director and embalmer in Ohio and North Carolina, and they are funeral directors/embalmers at Greene Funeral Service.
The couple left on a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., and upon return will live at the Gastonia address.
