Miss Anderson to wed Mr. Penn in June ceremony

YOUNGSTOWN -- Melvin and Mary Anderson of Youngstown announce the engagement of their daughter, Shannon Raquel Anderson, to Karl Jordan Penn, both of Dayton.
Parents of the future groom are William and Quincy Penn of Youngstown.
Miss Anderson is majoring in English at Central State University, Wilberforce, where she is a leadership coordinator.
A graduate of the College of Wooster with a degree in English, the prospective groom is program director at Dayton Christian Center.
Central Christian Church will be the setting for the couple's wedding to take place at 4 p.m. June 23. An evening reception will be held at Antone's Banquet Centre, Boardman.
