Traffic study under way
GROVE CITY, Pa. -- Motorists visiting Grove City Outlet Shops at state Route 208 and Interstate 79 in Springfield Township are advised to exercise caution.
The state Department of Transportation has begun preliminary engineering and environmental studies at the location in anticipation of improving traffic flow. Study personnel are now active in the area, a PennDOT spokeswoman said.
Emergency personnelwill be honored
Humility of Mary Health Partners is honoring the life-saving efforts of its emergency medical services personnel with picnics from noon to 4 p.m. Friday at St. Elizabeth Health Center Boardman Campus Emergency Center and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday outside the emergency entrance at St. Joseph Health Center in Warren.
As part of the activities at St. Joseph, Howland Fire Department personnel will offer to inspect child vehicle restraint systems from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. to ensure they are properly installed.
