BENEFITS
XBoardman-Poland Junior Women's League and St. Elizabeth Health Center Department of Pediatrics will sponsor a crib raffle to benefit the Touched by Nathan Foundation. The first prize features a Jenny Lind crib filled with infant items, a baby's first hair cut, a massage for mom and a bond, with a total value of $800. Second prize is a car seat filled with baby items, and third place will be a gift certificate to Springfield Grille and a diaper bag. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. They can be purchased from league members, by calling the foundation at (330) 750-1934 or the pediatrics department at (330) 480-3633. The drawing will be June 9.
FESTIVALS
XEast Fairfield United Methodist Church, 45675 state route 558, East Fairfield, will hold an ice cream festival from 4:30 to 7 p.m. June 2. The menu features hot turkey sandwiches, sloppy Joes, hot dogs, potato salad, baked beans, deviled eggs, cake, pie, ice cream and strawberry topping. Carryouts will be available. Ice cream will also be sold in two-quart containers.
SALES
XA garage sale will be held at Austintown Community United Church of Christ, 242 S. Canfield-Niles Road, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday by the Ruth Circle.
TEAS
XA calendar tea will be held at Phillips Chapel Church of God in Christ, 3903 Jacobs Road, Hubbard, from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday For information call (330) 534-2496.
