Other significant eyesores in smaller cities in the Valley, according to readers:
Curbs and sidewalks, Liberty Street, Hubbard. Much of the curbing seemingly has merged with the street leaving no separation, which one reader said makes the area look "trashy." Road dirt obliterates some section of curb.
Dumping, between Hamrock and Harold lanes, Campbell. A dense mix of brush and trees, sprinkled with tires and litter, sits between the two streets of well-kept, split-level homes.
Homes, Mosier Road near Interstate 80, Girard. One home in the area is run-down, the yard scattered with toys. Another house is fire-damaged, with uncovered holes in the roof and eaves.
