Parents announce Rusu-Garchar engagement

The engagement of Lorraine Marie Rusu and Bryan Patrick Garchar, both of 6851 Berry Blossom Drive, Canfield, is announced by her mother, Denise Rusu, 632 Devitt Ave., Campbell, and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Garchar, 6917 Slippery Rock Drive, Canfield.
Miss Rusu is also a daughter of the late David Rusu. She is a dental assistant with Drs. Raymond Lev, Gerhard Berberich and Paul Stabile in Canfield.
A graduate of Youngstown State University with a degree in electrical engineering, the future groom is an engineer at General Motors Corp., Lordstown.
The couple will exchange vows during an open ceremony planned for 1 p.m. Aug. 25 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church in Austintown. Invitations will be extended for an evening reception at the Maronite Center in Youngstown.
