YOUNGSTOWN -- The wedding of Susan Novotny and Gregg Bettross took place at 2 p.m. May 19 at Calvary Baptist Church.
Parents of the bride are Stuart and Donna Novotny, 6824 Ruby Courts, Austintown.
Mr. Bettross is a son of Albert Bettross, 533 Hyatt Ave., Campbell, and the late Edith Bettross.
The Rev. Paul Brimmfield officiated, and a reception was held at The Embassy.
After a honeymoon trip to Hawaii, the couple will live at 92 Bouquet Ave.
Fashioned of white satin, the bride's gown featured a Queen Anne neckline embellished with lace, pearls and sequins. The full skirt fell to a cathedral train.
Her sister, Sharon Novotny, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Mary Lou Stanchin, the groom's sister; Apryl Seide, his cousin; and Sheryl Wagner, the bride's sister. They wore pale pink gowns. Erica Bettross, the groom's niece, was flower girl.
Michael Bettross performed the duties of best man for his cousin, and groomsmen were David Jay, the groom's cousin; Stuart Novotny Jr., the bride's brother; and Ed Bettross, his brother. Ring bearer was John Stanchin, the groom's nephew.
Mrs. Bettross is a clerk at Pat Catan's Craft Centers in Sharon, Pa.
Her husband is a warehouse supervisor for La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery in Boardman.
