Remicks celebrate 50th anniversary at family events

CLEARWATER, Fla. -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. J. Robert Remick, 2882 Gulf-to-Bay Blvd., is being celebrated this month with family activities.
Mr. Remick and the former Ruth Martha Marcis were married May 20, 1951, at Concordia Evangelical Lutheran Church, Youngstown, where they were long-time members.
Mr. Remick was president of the church council for many years and was employed in the data processing department at St. Elizabeth Hospital. His wife was employed as an executive secretary at the church and also served in its Dorcas Society.
After Mr. Remick retired from the hospital in 1986, the couple moved to Florida from their home on South Raccoon Road, Canfield.
Arrangements for the celebrations are being handled by their children, Deborah Remick Hoffman and family of Tampa, Fla., Robert W. Remick of Youngstown, John A. Remick and family of Boardman, and Arthur J. Remick and family of Poland. The couple have eight grandchildren.
