D'Amores feted at celebration of 50th anniversary



BROOKFIELD -- Dr. and Mrs. Amanto P. D'Amore, 7185 Sunnydell Drive, were honored May 5 at a luncheon reception at Leo's Ristorante in Howland on the occasion of their golden wedding anniversary. The event was followed by a private Mass at St. Bernadette Church in Masury.
Hosts for the observance were the couple's children and their spouses, Dr. David and Debbie D'Amore of Brookfield; Claudine and Joseph Ugran of Canfield; Randy and Deirdre D'Amore of Livonia, Mich.; Loren and Lisa D'Amore of Masury; Denice and Thomas Fogle of Grove City; Mary Lou and Joseph Mikolay of Canfield; Donald and Michelle D'Amore of North Olmsted; and Laura and John Miklos of Brookfield. Nineteen grandchildren complete their family.
Dr. D'Amore and the former Florence Christine Shutrump were married May 5, 1951, a St. Joseph Church in Youngstown. He served as a captain in the Army Medical Corps during World War II and retired after 61 years as a medical doctor in general practice in Masury and Brookfield.
The couple are members are St. Bernadette Church.
