NORTH GEORGETOWN -- First Brethren Church of North Georgetown was the setting at 5 p.m. April 28 as Cynthia Lehotsky, 6990 Berry Blossom Drive, Canfield, and Thomas Blessing, 619 E. Broad St., Louisville, were united in marriage by the Rev. Mitch Funkhouse.
The daughter of William and Helen Lehotsky, 2501 S. Warren Road, North Jackson, and the son of Larry Blessing, 1025 E. College, Alliance, and the late Sandra Blessing, accepted congratulations during a reception at Timberlanes in Salem.
Afterward they left on a cruise to the Bahamas.
They live in Canfield.
The bride's satin gown was enhanced with sequins and pearls and featured a V-neckline, illusion yoke and a full skirt that swept into a cathedral train. She held a bouquet of purple roses.
Purple gowns were worn by Faith Richley of Youngstown, the honor attendant, and the bridesmaid, Debi Richter of Newton Falls. Flower girl was the groom's niece, Caroline Wilde of Bethel Park, Pa.
Greg Campbell of Uniontown served as best man, and groomsmen were Joe Purcell of Chardon and Michael Natoli of Sherman Oaks, Calif.
A graduate of Regents College in Albany, N.Y., with a bachelor's degree in nursing, the bride is a registered nurse with Interim Occupational Health in Lordstown and the Mahoning County Justice Center in Youngstown.
The groom is a paramedic/crew leader with Rural Metro Ambulance in Middlefield.
