August rite set for Miss Volpini, Shannon Polk

POLAND -- Announcement is being made by Richard and Marisa Volpini of Poland of the engagement of their daughter, Laura L. Volpini of Cleveland, to Shannon J. Polk, also of Cleveland.
Mr. Polk is a son of Jan Polk of Ortonville, Mich.
Aug. 4 has been chosen for the couple's open ceremony to take place at 2 p.m. at New Life Assembly of God. Invitations will be issued for a reception to be held that evening at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman.
A magna cum laude graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland with a bachelor's degree in business logistics and marketing, Miss Volpini is pursuing a master's in business administration at JCU and a juris doctorate at Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland.
The future groom graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in political science from Hope College in Holland, Mich., and holds a juris doctorate from CWRU. He practices law with Duvin, Cahn & amp; Hutton in Cleveland.
