Pony (Ages 13-14)
Struthers St. Anthony's 13, Niles Atty. Matt Blair 1 -- Jeff Lute fired a two-hitter, striking out eight batters. Dave Yash homered.
Springfield 19, Lowellville Foundry Falcons 7 -- Jeremy Delvaux, Andy Sarich, Jason Mace and Matt Morell each had three hits. Michael Kampfer scored four runs. For Lowellville, Matt Wolfe had two hits.
Canfield Electric Device 13, Austintown Sluggers 3 -- Jake Mosure's three hits included two doubles and an RBI. Jim Ianazone and Jamie McNally had two hits, including doubles. For Austintown, Rick Scenna and John Mock each had RBI singles.
SOFTBALL
Pony (Ages 13-14)
Canfield Southeastern Equipment 13, Niles Reese Funeral Home 4 -- Stephanie Zunic tripled and doubled. Laura Hageman cleared the bases with a triple. C.J. Calabrese pitched a two-hitter. For Niles, Laura Dondadio doubled and Erin Armstrong singled.
Canfield Southeastern Equipment 9, Boardman Dart Trucking 2 -- Felicia Ciotola had three hits while Julie Cooper, Nicole Mamula and Ashley Bleggi had two apiece. For Boardman, Tricia Bailey and Allison Luczka each had two hits.
