STRUTHERS -- Representatives from Christ Community Church have set up a donation account to help Sherry Benedict, 27, who injured her back after jumping from the roof of her home Wednesday to escape a fire.
Donations can be made to the Benedict Fund at Mahoning County or Trumbull County Metropolitan National Bank.
Groups to meet fans
SHARON, Pa. -- If you are a doo-wop fan, the Vocal Group Hall of Fame & amp; Museum at 98 E. State St., will be the place to be from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.
The Marcels, Gene Pitt & amp; The Jive Five, The Four Dots, The El Capris and Vito & amp; The Salutations will meet the public and sign autographs. Admission will be reduced to $5, with $2 going to the Humane Society of Mercer County.
The groups are in town for a Society benefit concert at 8 p.m. at Sharon High School.
