AUXILIARIES
XBrookfield Township Volunteer Firemen's Auxiliary will hold a memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday on the green in Brookfield. Afterward, the auxiliary will serve punch and coffee at the firehall.
XThe John J. Buckley Auxiliary 1292 Catholic War Veterans will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the post home. Dorothy Schultz, first vice president, will conduct the May crowning. A bakeless bake sale is under way. Dorothy Schultz and Anne Marie Zagger will be hostesses.
CLUBS
XLeCercle Francais will show the French film, "Jean de Florette" at 6 p.m. Thursday at the basement level meeting room of Youngstown Main Library. The film is in French with English subtitles. XNew Middletown Homemakers will meet at 11 a.m. Tuesday at CNC Clubhouse. There will be a short meeting followed by a picnic. Members are to take a casserole.

XDublin Grange 1409 will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the grange hall in Canfield. The topic will be an update on agriculture with Zella Baker in charge of the program.
POLITICAL CLUBS
XGirard Men's Democrat Club will meet at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkwood Youth Center, Trumbull Avenue.
XLeague of Women Voters of Trumbull County will meet Saturday at the Warren Women's Club. A brunch will begin at 10:30 a.m., and cost is $10. Election of officers will be held along with approval of the new budget and discussion of issues to be focused on in the coming year. XMahoning County Republican Women's Club will meet at noon Tuesday at Denny's in Austintown with Carol McClain presiding. Plans will be made for an annual picnic. Guest speaker will be Mark Monroe, chairman of the Mahoning County Board of Elections.

XMahoning Valley American Cancer Society will present the support program, "Look Good Feel Better" from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the ACS office, 525 N. Broad St., Canfield. The program, geared to women who are receiving treatment for cancer, focuses on skin care, make-up techniques, nail care, wigs, scarves, hats and hair care.
