May 11
Drugs: A 26-year-old Warren man was stopped on a traffic violation on Brookpark Drive and faces several traffic-related charges and drug abuse-marijuana. He also had three active warrants: failure to appear in Columbiana, probation violation in Trumbull County and a probation violation in Niles. A bag of suspected marijuana and suspected marijuana cigarettes were found in his car.
May 12
Theft: A 36-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested in the theft of $436 worth of cigarettes, baby food, charcoal and other items from Giant Eagle. Police also charged her with possession of drug paraphernalia after finding a pipe with suspected marijuana residue in her purse.
May 13
Drug paraphernalia: A 20-year-old Mineral Ridge man was stopped on a traffic violation on East Main Street and arrested on a charge of possession of a marijuana pipe.
AUSTINTOWN
May 6
Theft: A wallet was stolen from a residence in the 300 block of Elgen Street.
Criminal damage: A vehicle was kicked and punched at Fitch High School and a windshield and headlights were damaged on a vehicle in the 100 block of North Yorkshire Boulevard.
Theft: Tarps and straps were stolen from FYDA Trucking, 5260 Seventy-Six Drive.
Burglary: A Sony Playstation with accessories was stolen from a residence in the 4000 block of Staatz Drive.
May 7
Break-ins: A door of Ohio Van & amp; Truck, 3667 Mahoning Ave., was pried open but nothing was reported missing. Thieves also attempted to pry open a door at McQuaid's gas station, 702 N. Meridian Road.
Criminal damage: Windows of a vehicle were broken at a residence in the 600 block of Berry Blossom Drive and a vehicle was damaged by a sharp object at an undetermined location in Austintown.
Attempted break-in: Two screens were damaged at a doctor's office at 5480 Norquest Boulevard.
Criminal damage: The paint on a vehicle was damaged by a sharp object in the 100 block of Fountain Square apartments.
Criminal damage: A pool cover was damaged by heavy objects in the residential 500 block of West Rockwell Road.
Theft from auto: An Alltel cell phone was stolen from a vehicle in the 300 block of New Road.
License plate: A temporary tag was either stolen or fell off a vehicle at Ames.
Criminal damage: The rear quarter panel of a vehicle was kicked at Fitch High School, causing dents and scratches.
May 8
Theft: Aluminum products were stolen from a residence in the 2000 block of Spring Meadow Circle.
Theft: Cigarettes were stolen from True North, 4200 Mahoning Ave.
May 9
Theft: Prescription drugs were stolen from a residence in the 1000 block of South Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft: Golf equipment was stolen from a vehicle at BW-3 Restaurant, 6000 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: A 20-inch Schwinn boy's bicycle was stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of Norquest Boulevard.
May 10
Theft from auto: Three male suspects were caught after a short pursuit. They are accused of stealing items from a vehicle at Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
May 11
Theft from vehicle: A door window was broken out and numerous items were removed from a vehicle in the 4000 block of Kirk Road.
Criminal damage: Eight lug nuts were removed from a vehicle, causing damage to a wheel at Superior Beverage, 4525 Victoria Road.
Theft: A purse was stolen from a residence in the 800 block of Compass West.
Theft: White vinyl chairs and a basketball were stolen from a residence in the 5000 block of London Drive.
Criminal damaging: Two occurrences of tires being cut were reported in the 4000 block of Burkey Road.
May 12
Theft from truck: A CB radio was stolen from a tractor-trailer rig at Super 8 Motel, Seventy-Six Drive.
Auto theft: A1994 Ford Explorer was stolen from the 100 block of Idaho Road.
Impersonation: A 35-year-old white man driving a black Ford Crown Victoria with a portable red dash light was impersonating a police officer at South Turner Road by Fairview Avenue.
Auto theft: An unlocked 1988 Buick LeSabre was stolen from Bill's Place, 4771 Mahoning Ave.
