Joy Polkabla to be bride of Jeremy Byers

The engagement of Joy Polkabla, 155 Snapfinger Drive, Athens, Ga., and Jeremy Martin Byers of Kentucky is being announced by her parents, George and Margaret Fabich, 3455 White Beech Lane, Austintown, and Michael and Joyce Polkabla, 329 Mosier Road, Girard.
The future groom is a son of George and Diane Byers of 422 N. Turner Road, Austintown.
The bride-elect earned a bachelor's degree in music and recreation at Ohio University and is pursuing a master's in recreation administration at the University of Georgia, where she is a graduate assistant in fitness and wellness for the department of recreational sports.
The prospective groom graduated from Mount Union College in Alliance with a bachelor's degree in biology and is pursuing a master's in biology at Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky.
The couple will be married at 4 p.m. July 20 at St. James Meeting House in Boardman Township Park. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and also for an evening reception at The Georgetown, Boardman.
