10 from Campbell, Youngstown face federal narcotics charges

CAMPBELL -- Ten people from Campbell and Youngstown have been indicted on violations of federal narcotics laws, including distributing and possessing crack cocaine.
The superseding indictment, filed last week, is a result of a 14-month investigation by a number of federal and local law enforcement agencies, including a Federal Bureau of Investigation task force and the Drug Enforcement Administration in and around the Kirwan Homes area of Campbell. The original indictment was handed up April 10.
The United States Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio said Monday that the investigation involved more than 51 undercover crack cocaine purchases.
The men and women range in age from 18 to 40 and face at least one count each of possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute, which comes with a mandatory minimum of five to 40 years in prison and/or a $2 million fine; and distribution of crack cocaine, which carries a maximum sentence of 20 years' imprisonment and/or a $1million fine.
Those charged are: Jermaine M. Hodges, 19; Marc A. Brisky, 26; and Lakisha Buxton, 23, all of Youngstown; and Teangelo Stores, 20; Dajuan M. Wills, 20; Ramona Moton, 40; Clifton T. Moton, 23; Trinell N. Bennett, 27; Glenn E. Land II, 18; and Michael E. Walker II, 21, all of Campbell.
