Goists honored at family dinner for 60th jubilee

HUBBARD -- Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Goist of Hubbard were honored May 12 at a family dinner at the Lion's Club in celebration of their 60th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the observance were the couple's daughters and sons-in-law, Sandy and Jack Choppa and Ruth and David Korb, all of Hubbard.
The couple also have five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Mr. Goist, who is also known as "Bill," and the former Nancy Heckman were married May 9, 1941. He retired in 1983 from General Fireproofing, where he had worked for 43 years.
Mrs. Goist is a homemaker.
