YOUNGSTOWN -- Betty J. Marshall, a Youngstown native, has been appointed chief administrative officer of the Phoenix Restaurant Group, which owns and operates the Black-eyed Pea restaurant chain and one of the largest franchisees of Denny's restaurants. Marshall is also assistant secretary and senior vice president for the Scottsdale, Ariz., based company. She is the former senior vice president of corporate communications and community relations for Shoney's Inc.

SHARON -- Kate Dority of Warren has been hired by Winner Advertising to focus on strategic marketing and planning in the company's account service and media departments for clients such as Dean Dairy, Meadow Brook Dairy and Wengert's Dairy. Kate has a bachelor's degree in advertising and marketing from Kent State University and had been an account executive for the Record Publishing Co.
PRINTING
WARREN -- Kevin Hardy has joined Superior Printing Co. as sales manager in the company's southern Ohio sales office. Hardy had been vice president for Byrum Litho in Columbus.
