A headline in some editions Tuesday was incorrect. A former New Wilmington police officer is still facing charges in Lawrence County Common Pleas Court. Prosecutors have offered Timothy Chambers a plea agreement that has angered borough council members. The proposed plea offers to dismiss 26 of 27 charges.
