Weekend at Whitewood
WINDSOR -- Women from Northeast Ohio are invited to participate in educational programs including The Joy of Stress, Parenting and Grandparenting Issues and The Pleasure of Herbs July 6-8 at4-H Camp Whitewood in southwestern Ashtabula County.
In Weekend at Whitewood, campers will be able to attend traditional activities such as swimming, nature walks, crafts, boating and recreation.
Registration, due June 21, costs $83 and covers meals, lodging and programs. Campers stay in cabins holding up to 14 people. Call the Mahoning County Extension office at (330) 533-5538.
'Rent' at the Palace
CLEVELAND -- "Rent" for $20? It's true. When the Broadway musical "Rent" returns to Palace Theatre on Playhouse Square for performances Tuesday through May 20, a limited number of seats in front of the orchestra will be sold for $20.
The only way to buy these tickets is to go to the new C-Tix Booth in Cleveland's Theater district two hours before each performance (7:30 p.m. Tuesday through May 18; 1:30 and 7:30 p.m. May 19-20). Lottery tickets will be distributed, and winners may buy no more than two tickets with cash only.
