April 30
Theft: A Canfield High School student reported his wallet was stolen from his duffle bag in the school locker room when he returned from training on the track.
May 3
Mutual aid: The Mahoning County Sheriff's Department asked for assistance on a report of a fight between a 29-year-old Wampum, Pa., mother and her 13-year-old daughter. The woman was in custody at the Colonial Motel, 7815 Akron-Canfield Road, and she was handcuffed, searched and transported to Mahoning County jail after leaving bite marks and bumps on her daughter's body and head.
Drug possession: Police arrested a 47-year-old Canfield man on two charges of drug possession, drug paraphernalia and reckless operation of a motor vehicle after he was stopped after nearly hitting another car head-on on East Main Street. A search of his vehicle turned up a half-smoked suspected marijuana cigarette, a plastic bag containing suspected crack cocaine, a bag of suspected marijuana, and a cup of suspected alcohol.

Criminal trespassing: Police brought charges of criminal trespassing and aggravated menacing against a 27-year-old Southington man who went to a Hood Drive home to talk to a man who lived there about a motorcycle he had put a deposit on but never received. He went to check on the motorcycle and was told to leave. A woman at the house reported he was screaming obscenities and making threats.

Theft: Two bicycles were stolen from a North Yorkshire Boulevard home.
Criminal damaging: Bicycles were reported damaged at Ames, 6000 Mahoning Avenue.
Theft: Two hubcaps were stolen from a car parked at IGA, 4477 Mahoning Avenue.

Burglary: Police arrested a man for a burglary of a South Meridian Road home.
Theft: Police issued summonses for two women accused of stealing at Giant Eagle, 5220 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Someone stole a wallet from a vehicle parked on Radcliffe Avenue.

Theft: Someone stole an AM-FM CD player, two speakers and 17 compact discs from a vehicle parked at an apartment on Kirk Road.
Recovered property: Police recovered on Fountain Square Drive a 1989 Oldsmobile 88 reported stolen from Youngstown.
Drug offense: Police arrested an 18-year-old man for possession of marijuana on Birch Trace.
Criminal damaging: Police said they had a suspect in custody for using a hammer to damage a vehicle parked on South Roanoke Avenue.
Theft: Someone broke a vehicle window and stole an AM-FM radio and compact disc player at the Budapest Inn, 3780 Mahoning Ave.
Burglary: Someone entered an open door of an attached garage and opened the valve on a propane tank at a Dunbar Avenue home.
Theft: Someone stole $20 from a Nassau Court home.

Assault: An unidentified man beat up another man at The Mill, 1743 S. Raccoon Road.
Theft: A woman took money and credit cards from a truck at the Rebel Lounge, 5335 Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft: Camping supplies and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked on South Raccoon Road.
Criminal damaging: Someone used a rock to damage the rear window of a vehicle parked on Edinburgh Drive.
