Tara Hamel, Patrick McElfresh to be married

PITTSBURGH -- The engagement of Tara Hamel and Patrick McElfresh, both of Cleveland, is announced by the bride-to-be's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Hamel of Pittsburgh.
Parents of the future groom are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis McElfresh of Niles.
Miss Hamel graduated from the University of Pittsburgh. She is a treatment specialist at the Children's Aid Society in Cleveland.
Mr. McElfresh graduated from Ohio University, Athens, and is pursing a master's degree in clinical psychology at Cleveland State University. He is a mental-health coordinator at the Children's Aid Society.
The couple will be married during a ceremony planned for 2 p.m. Aug. 11 at Sts. Cyril and Methodius Church in Warren and will be honored afterward at McMenamy's in Niles. Invitations will be issued for the ceremony and reception.
