Garden programs
BRISTOLVILLE -- The Bristol Public Library will present a variety of garden-related programs in a cafe setting on Fridays through the month of May. Topics will include "All About Herbs," "How to Grow Hostas," "Plants of Yesteryear" and "Garden Travel." The Garden Cafe features a menu of salads and greens, sweets, and coffee and tea.

Fibromyalgia lecture
HERMITAGE, Pa. -- "Chronic Pain in Women -- Could It Be Fibromyalgia?" will be the topic of a free lecture by Dr. Robert Landfried, a specialist in pain management, Wednesday at 7 p.m. at Whispering Oaks.
UPMC Horizon and Magee-Women's Hospital are sponsoring the lecture as part of the Womancare Center's "Healthy Horizons for Women" lecture series.

Benefit walk
WARREN -- New Life Maternity Home of Vienna will have its eighth annual two-mile walk Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the Tea Garden at Packard Park. Anyone who wants to walk, jog, skate or bicycle for New Life is welcome to participate.
