YOUNGSTOWN -- Trinity United Methodist Church was the setting at 4 p.m. May 5 for the wedding of Katherine Davey and Jerry Cleckner, both of 431 Miller St.
The bride is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Lamonie Davey, who had lived in Girard, and the groom is a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Cleckner, who had lived in North Lima.
The Rev. Larry Kline officiated at the ceremony, and afterward a reception took place at Aulizio's Banquet Center in Warren.
Pearls, sequins and pink rosebuds adorned the bride's white gown. It was designed with elbow-length sleeves, a gently scooped neckline and a chapel train. She held a bouquet of white roses.
Wearing pink suits were the bride's sisters, Margaret Meek of Dewittville, N.Y., the honor attendant, and Frances Thomas of Brunswick, the bridesmaid.
The duties of best man were performed by Brad Carlson of Columbiana, and groomsmen were the bride's brothers, Richard Davey and Jim Davey, both of Girard, Tod Davey of Berea and Les Davey of Lakewood.
The bride is a housekeeper at Brierfield Nursing Home in Austintown. The groom served with the U.S. Navy and is a dispatcher with Falcon Transportation, Youngstown.
The couple live at the Hubbard address.
