AUSTINTOWN -- Tabernacle Evangelical Presbyterian Church was the setting at 5:30 p.m. May 5 for the wedding of Melissa Ann VanHorn, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James VanHorn, 9112 New Road, North Jackson, and Christopher James Lindley, son of Mr. and Mrs. James D. Lindley, 295 Camden Lane, Aurora.
The Rev. Gary Koerth officiated, and a reception took place at Colonial Catering in Canfield. After a honeymoon at Puerta Vallarta, Mexico, the couple will live at 91 Village Gates Blvd., Delaware.
The bride wore a white lamour and tulle gown with an organza overlay and camisole bodice and trimmed with pearls and sequins.
Her cousin, Nancy Snavley, was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Stacie Baker, the groom's sister, and Colleen Hendricks and Kara O'Bryan. They wore pink gowns.
Nicholas Lindley, the groom's brother, was best man, and groomsmen were Jason Baker, the groom's brother-in-law; Tod McCloskey; and Rick Wisniewsky. Ushers were Eric Kuebler and Dennis Svozil.
A magna cum laude graduate of Bowling Green State University with a bachelor's degree in education, Mrs. Lindley is an English/journalism teacher and volleyball coach at Marion Harding High School in Marion. She is pursuing a master's degree at Ohio State University.
Her husband holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from BGSU and is a senior mutual-funds accountant at BISYS Corp. in Columbus. He is pursuing a master's degree at Capital University.
