FARRELL, Pa. -- Todd A. Scott of Farrell has completed requirements to become a certified Registered Piano Technician member of the Piano Technicians Guild. Scott, 22, has been a piano technician for 11 years and is a member of the Pittsburgh Chapter of the guild. The guild is the leading source of continuing technical education opportunities in the piano service field.
GREENVILLE, Pa. -- Dorothy Elder Anderson, a co-founder of Anderson Coach and Tour in Greenville, has been tapped as a winner of one of the Best 50 Women in Business Awards, selected by the judges representing six Pennsylvania business journals. Anderson was one of three founders of the tour company, which now employs 231. She is the company's financial disburser and also founded a charitable foundation in her name. There were 200 nominees for the annual award competition.
