Lattros observe 50th anniversary during vacation

YOUNGSTOWN -- The 50th wedding anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene J. Lattro, 4321 Euclid Blvd., was celebrated during a trip in April to Williamsburg, Va., and Washington, D.C.,
Arrangements for the trip were made by their children, Anna Marie and Greg Girard of Fountain Inn, S.C.; Richard Lattro of Hilliard; Marilyn and Robert Buckley of Poland; and Michael and Ann Lattro of Carey, N.C. The couple have seven grandchildren.
Mr. Lattro and the former Anna Figurelli were married April 7, 1951, at Sacred Heart Church. They are members of St. Dominic Church and its senior citizens group, and are members of bowling leagues.
Mr. Lattro served with the U.S. Air Force from 1943 to 1946 in the Pacific Theater of Operations and retired in 1997 from the Cafaro Co., where he was advertising director and artist. He is a member of Camens Golf League.
