GOLF OUTING Swing for Life is a benefit



The fund-raiser is limited to 128 golfers. Various prizes will be awarded.
HUBBARD -- The fourth annual Swing for Life golf classic is scheduled for June 15 at Pine Lakes Golf Course to benefit of LifeBanc's promotion of organ and tissue donation in northeast Ohio.
The golf outing will get under way with a continental breakfast and registration starting at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start at 10. Lunch will be at the turn and dinner at 4:30 p.m.
The cost is $100 for 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a limit of 128 golfers. A $25 fee will be charged for dinner only.
Cash prizes to be awarded to the winning teams will be $500 for first place, $250 for second place and $100 for third. Golfers will have an opportunity to win prizes at each hole, including a two-year lease on a 2001 vehicle for a hole-in-one on a par 3 hole. There will be drawings for tickets to Cleveland Indians and Pittsburgh Pirates baseball games.
