Glowackys mark golden jubilee at reception

NILES -- Mr. and Mrs. Walter Glowacky of 1981 Bianco Ave. were honored May 5 at a reception at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Girard in honor of their 50th wedding anniversary.
Hosts for the observance were the couple's children and daughters-in-law, Larry and Kelly Glowacky of Houston, Sheryi Devine of Liberty, Kenny Glowacky of Houston and Tom and Cathy Glowacky of Houston. Four grandchildren complete their family.
Mr. Glowacky and the former Ann Rappach were married May 5, 1951, at Holy Trinity Church in Youngstown. He served in the U.S. Navy and retired in 1987 from Ohio Edison, where he was a senior marketing representative. He is a member of K. of C. 2935 and CWV Post 1222.
His wife is a member and past president of the McKinley Heights Women's Auxiliary.
The couple belong to St. Rose Church in Girard.
