EASTER SEAL Women's Golf Classic planned



The event will conclude with an awards ceremony.
VIENNA -- The 2001 Easter Seal Women's Golf Classic will take place June 11 at Squaw Creek Country Club.
A continental breakfast will begin the day's activities at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start following at 10:15. A luncheon and awards ceremony will conclude the event at 2:30 p.m. Entry fee is $90, and hole sponsorships are available for $75.
The team handicap scramble allows only one player a 13 or less handicap per team.
Prizes for holes-in-one include a $5,000 cash prize, a camcorder, round-trip airline tickets and a set of irons.
The first-place team will receive $500 pro shop gift certificates and a set of Angels of Easter Seal cookbooks. Second-place finishers will earn $400 gift certificates and Precious Moments figurines, and the team placing third will receive $300 gift certificates. Fourth- and fifth-place teams will receive $200 and $100 gift certificates, respectively.
There also will be awards for all par 3 holes, raffle prizes and proximity prizes.
