DELSIE HOPE, 77

YOUNGSTOWN -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in New Bethel Baptist Church for Delsie Hope, 77, of 842 Parkwood Ave., who died Thursday at home.
Mrs. Hope was born April 2, 1924, in Uniontown, Ala., a daughter of Phillip and Lucretia Thomas, coming to this area many years ago.
A homemaker, she was a member of the church, its senior usher ministry, its missionary society and the senior ministry.
Besides her husband, Willie J., whom she married November 1942, she leaves three daughters, Rose Ann Smith and Gwendolyn Mitchell, both of Youngstown, and Maxine Lewis of Chicago; a brother, Phillip Thomas of Youngstown; four grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Sallie Everson, Mary Cook and Josephine Thomas; and a brother, Simpson Thomas are deceased.
Friends may call for one hour before services in the church.
Arrangements are by Black & amp; Phillips Funeral Home.
