ROSIE H. FIGGINS, 53

FARRELL, Pa. -- Services will be at noon Wednesday in Cedar Avenue Church of God, 1045 Cedar Ave., Sharon, Pa., for Rosie H. Figgins, 53, of 943 Emerson Ave., who died of a heart ailment early Thursday in Horizon Hospital, Farrell.
Mrs. Figgins was born Nov. 21, 1947, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of Jessie and Annie Loural Chandler. She attended schools in Chicago and had been a spot welder for Ecolab Co. in South Beloit, Ill., before retiring on disability. She was a member of the church.
Her husband, Simon Coates, whom she married in 1985, died June 9, 1997.
Besides her stepmother, Elizabeth Chandler of Chicago, she leaves five daughters, Lashawn Figgins and Loural Figgins, both of Farrell, and Simone, Ida and Carmen Coates, all of Beloit, Wis.; two sons, Isaac Figgins of Toma, Wis., and Juan Houston Jr. of Farrell; three sisters, Mary and Jean Chandler and Teresa Hemingway, all of Chicago; and 16 grandchildren.
A brother, Albert Chandler, is deceased.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. until services in the church.
Arrangements are by Shannon Funeral Home, Wheatland, Pa.
