LEAH SHOAFF, 85

BROOKFIELD -- Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Baird Funeral Home, Greenville, Pa., for Leah Shoaff, 85, of Brookfield Retirement Home, here, formerly of The Manor at Autumn Hills, Niles, and 124 Shenango St., Greenville, who died late Thursday at the home.
Mrs. Shoaff, who was known as "Peggy," was born April 13, 1916, in Marion, Ind., a daughter of Clarence and Ruth Pearson Lowe. A graduate of Marion (Ind.) High School and Indiana University Extension Business School, she was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church, Greenville.
Her husband, Rexford L., whom she married May 28, 1943, died Aug. 25, 1986.
She leaves a daughter, Lynn Carper of Farmdale, Ohio.
Friends may call from noon until Monday at the funeral home.
