AUGUST J. VADINO, 68



GIRARD -- Memorial services will be later in Arkansas for August J. Vadino, 68, of Grubbs, Ark., formerly of Girard, who died of leukemia Sunday in Little Rock Veterans Hospital, after a one year illness.
Mr. Vadino, also known as "Augie," was born on May 28, 1932 in Girard, a son of Anthony and Rose Vadino.
He was a former member of St. Rose Church and was a councilman for the city of Grubb. He was a Korean War veteran.
He leaves two daughters, Cindy Mendel of Cleveland and Susan Vadino of Howland; a son, Michael of New York City; seven sisters, Lucy Santangelo of Niles, Clara Phillips in Oregon, Angie Mikolaj, Madeline Fonce and Rose Marie Johnston, all of Girard, Jeannie Baker of Niles and Irene Pinciaro of Boardman; and three brothers, Carmen of Niles, Anthony in Arizona and Joseph in Georgia.
Two sisters, Marie E. Adams and Irene Candio, are deceased.
