VIRGINIA ZITO, 87



NILES -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Peter Rossi & amp; Son Memorial Chapel, Warren, and at 10:30 a.m. in St. James Church, for Virginia Zito, 87, of 438 N. Cleveland Ave., formerly of Warren, who died early Friday in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Zito was born Nov. 28, 1913, in Hudson, Ohio, a daughter of Joseph and Julia Ricci Ramicone, coming to Warren in 1933 from Ravenna, where she lived for one year. She retired from the Trumbull School of Nursing, where she had been a clerical worker for 12 years and a housemother.
She had been church secretary at Christ Our King Catholic Church, and was a member of St. James Church and Knights of Columbus Council 620 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed walking, gardening, playing cards and working crossword puzzles and was an avid reader.
Her husband, Bruno, whom she married Jan. 31, 1931, died April 21, 1971.
She leaves two sons, Melvin B. of Tallmadge, Ohio, and Robert P. of Sandusky; two daughters, Mary C. Hernandez of Niles, with whom she made her home, and Julia M. Aristide of Stow, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Nicholas and Louis Ramicone, are deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
