ROGERS -- Memorial services will be at 7 p.m. Monday in Rogers Assembly of God Church, for Virginia I. Straub, 47, of 45548 Pine Hollow Road, who died of cancer Friday in East Liverpool City Hospital, where she had been a patient for 11 days.
Mrs. Straub, who was known as "Genny," was born Oct. 27, 1953, in Clarkson, a daughter of Frank and Elsie Seevers Hawkins, and lived in Rogers most of her life. She had worked for Century Industries in East Fairfield and PHD Mfg. Inc., Columbiana.
Besides her husband, John, she leaves a son, Michael Gorby of Rogers; a daughter, Bobbie Jo Gorby of Charlotte, N.C.; four brothers, Roy R., James L. and Russell A. Hawkins, all of Lisbon, and Frank E. Hawkins of Warren; three sisters, Dora Mae Whittington of East Palestine, Nancy L. Wright of Charlotte and Linda M. Kelly of Columbiana; and a granddaughter.
Two sisters, Thelma J. and Edna M. Wright, are deceased.
There are no calling hours.
