Campbell will pay about $121,000 in claims for lawsuits settled last year:
Roy Stanfar lawsuit: The city still owes about $70,280 to the former fire chief over his health-related firing in 1995 by then-Mayor George D. Tablack. Stanfar had been with the city for 30 years and sued for $300,000 in 1997. He settled for $126,881 in 1997.
Fire department overtime: City firefighters filed a lawsuit in 1999 contending they had not been compensated correctly for overtime under a previous work schedule. The case was settled last year for about $31,250.
