NORMAN S. DRUBRAVCAK, 73



CHAMPION -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in St. William Church, for Norman S. Drubravcak, 73, of 417 Earl Drive N.W., who died of complications of cancer late Thursday in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Drubravcak, who was known as "Storm Norman," was born Feb. 17, 1928, in Dickson City, Pa., a son of Stephen and Louise Wano Drubravcak. He came to Warren in 1955 and to Champion in 1973.
He retired in 1990 from Copperweld Steel Corp. as a grinder in the inspection department after 34 years. A 1946 graduate of Dickson City High School, he was a member of the church and enjoyed gardening, bowling and golf. He was an Army veteran and later a Navy veteran of the Korean War.
Besides his wife, the former Mary Ann Krokosky, whom he married July 19, 1956, he leaves two sons, Ronald J. of Howland and David A. of Warren; three daughters, Diana Simun and Sandra Furbee, both of Champion, and Shirley Sowinski of Southington; a sister, Rosalie Strony of Dickson City, Pa.; and 10 grandchildren.
A brother, Thomas, and a grandson are deceased.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Peter Rossi & amp; Son Memorial Chapel and a half-hour before services Monday in the church .
