MICHAEL HENRY ZILLINGER, 76



WARREN -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in St. Mary Church, here for Michael Henry Zillinger, 76, of 608 Washington St., Apt. B318, Cape May, N.J., formerly of Warren, who died Thursday in Burdette Tomlin Hospital, Cape May Court House, N.J.
Mr. Zillinger was born Feb. 19, 1925, in Altoona, Pa. a son of Michael H. and Fanny Eder Zillinger, and lived in Cape May for seven years. He was a warehouse manager for 37 years for the Warren City Board of Education before retiring in 1986. He was a member of Star of the Sea Church, Cape May. He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed bowling and travel. He was with the military police during World War II and was stationed in Germany as a translator.
His first wife, the former Mary Meers, whom he married May 8, 1946, died Nov. 9, 1991.
Besides his wife, the former Bernadine Rooney, whom he married Feb. 5, 1994, he leaves a son, Michael H. III of Warren; a stepson, W. Gregory Simpkins of Egg Harbor Township, N.J.; two stepdaughters, Suzanne Carney and Ruth McDevitt, both of Clermont, N.J.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
