'Tetelestai' play set
AUSTINTOWN -- St. Joseph Catholic Church will be host to the Passion play, "Tetelestai," at 8 p.m. Friday and April 7 and 2 p.m. April 8. Tetelestai is a Greek word that means "It is finished." Cleveland Performing Arts Ministries has produced the ecumenical program for 25 years in Northeast Ohio. The cast has 130 members. An offering will be taken. Call (440) 944-0635.
Passion play
BOARDMAN -- Trinity Fellowship Church will present a celebration of Easter Passion play at 7 p.m. April 8 to 13. An offering will be taken. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Workshop and concert
WARREN -- David Haas, who runs the Emmaus Center for Music, Prayer and Ministry in Eagan, Minn., will perform in concert at 7:30 p.m. April 27 at Blessed Sacrament Church. He'll also present a workshop from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. April 28.

Easter production

Bishop Malonememorial Mass
YOUNGSTOWN -- The Holy Week liturgy at 12:10 p.m. April 9 at St. Columba Cathedral will be celebrated for the intention of the first anniversary of the death of Bishop James W. Malone, former bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Youngstown. Bishop Thomas J. Tobin will preside.
Pastor honored
YOUNGSTOWN -- Tridestone Missionary Baptist Church will honor Pastor T.F. James after 29 years of service with a pre-anniversary banquet at 6:30 p.m. Friday at St. Mark's Center in Liberty. The Rev. Dr. A. E. Williams of Cleveland will be the speaker.
The anniversary celebrations will be at 4 p.m. April 15 and 22.
Music Sunday
HUBBARD -- Youngstown District 1 Churches of God in Christ will present its annual musical Sunday at 4 p.m. April 8 at Phillips Chapel C.O.G.
Superintendent speaks
CANFIELD -- The Rev. Dr. Gary Olin, superintendent of the Youngstown District, East Ohio Conference of the United Methodist Church, will speak at 10:30 a.m. April 8 at Canfield United Methodist Church. During the service, 11 youths will be confirmed.
1st anniversary
YOUNGSTOWN -- New Beginnings Outreach Ministries will celebrate its first anniversary at 4 p.m. Sunday. Guest churches and pastors include Greater Holy Trinity of Akron with Pastor C.L. Jackson. The Youngstown State University Gospel Choir will perform.
Seder planned

Easterfest set
NEW CASTLE -- Mary, Mother of Hope Parish will have its Easterfest from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 7 at the parish center. Handmade palm crosses will be for sale, along with decorated eggs and many types of food.
