YOUNGSTOWN -- A memorial service was to be at 1 p.m. today at Mason Funeral Home for Willie Paul Jackson, 59, of 1043 Alameda Ave., who died Monday at home. The Mahoning County coroner's ruling is pending.
Mr. Jackson was born March 3, 1942, in Watumpka, Ala., a son of Willie and Ludie M. Brewton Jackson, and came to the area in 1953.
He was a truck driver for Regal Trucking for 35 years.
He was a Baptist. He was a Vietnam War Marine Corps veteran.
Besides his mother of Campbell, he leaves a son, Michael B. of Farrell; a stepdaughter, Annette Y. Brown of Farrell; two brothers, Tommy D. Jackson of Youngstown and Wilbur Damous of Campbell; a sister, Lucille Damous-Hancock of Alpharetta, Ga.; and 10 grandchildren.
A brother, Willie B. ; a sister, Loretta Damous; and a stepson, Robert J. Brown, are deceased.
There are no calling hours.
