THOMAS C. BAKER, 64



EAST LIVERPOOL -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dawson Funeral Home for Thomas C. Baker, 64, of 916 May Road, who died Thursday afternoon in East Liverpool City Hospital's emergency room.
Mr. Baker was born Feb. 3, 1937, in Meigs County, Ohio, a son of Thomas A. and Macel Pickens Baker, and lived in East Liverpool most of his life.
A 1955 graduate of East Liverpool High School, he received a degree in journalism from Ohio University in 1962. He was a manager at Dollar Bank in Youngstown, where he began his banking career in 1968. He then served as assistant manager of the Wellsville Branch of National City Bank, retiring in 1999.
He was a member and trustee chairman at Campground Community Church. He also was a member of East Liverpool Masonic Lodge 315, and was active with the East Liverpool High School Alumni Association and its class reunion committee.
Besides his wife, the former Sally Bussard, whom he married April 6, 1968, he leaves two sons, Christopher T. of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Eric T. of East Liverpool.Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today and one hour before the service Saturday at the funeral home.
