LOUIS VRANKOVICH JR., 76

MASURY -- No services or calling hours are planned for Louis Vrankovich Jr., 76, of 1121 Broadway Ave., who died Thursday morning at home.
Mr. Vrankovich was born July 26, 1924, in Masury, a son of Louis and Ann Banjedvorae Vrankovich Sr.
He retired from General Motors, had been in the Merchant Marines, and served in the Air Force during the Korean War when he received a Bronze Star.
His wife, Dorothy J., whom he married in December 1973, died April 25, 1998.
He leaves four sons, Ronald L. Vrankovich of Warren, Louis Vrankovich III of Rising Sun, Md., Dennis R. Baldwin of Belcamp, Md., and James K. Baldwin of Lebanon, Tenn.; two daughters, Karen Johnson of New Castle, Del., and Robin Farra of Masury; three sisters, Grace Sydlowski of Brookfield, Lillian Barnot of Girard and Mildred Pelles of Sharon; 18 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
A sister and two brothers are deceased.
Arrangements are by Sample-O'Donnell Funeral Home in Sharon.
