IMOGENE RICHAR, 78



NILES -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home for Imogene Richar, 78, of 909 John St., who died Wednesday night in Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Warren, after a long illness.
Mrs. Richar was born Aug. 1, 1922, in Niles, a daughter of Warren and Grace Harshman Van Wye, and lived in Niles all her life.
She graduated in 1940 from Niles McKinley High School and had attended Westminster College in New Wilmington. A homemaker, she had worked for Goodwill Industries in Niles and Warren and at the Niles Firebrick Co. many years ago. She was a member of First Christian Church of Niles and the Niles Order of the Eastern Star.
Her husband, Thomas, whom she married April 12, 1947, died Jan. 11, 1998.
She leaves two sons, Karl and Lee, both of Niles; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Two sisters, Josephine Evans and Annabelle Carr; and four brothers, Paul, Abraham, Harlan and Warren Van Wye, are deceased.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
