FARRELL, Pa. -- Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Greater Morris Chapel AME Church, Farrell, for Clyde Steverson Sr., 80, of 815 Lee Ave., who died Wednesday afternoon in UPMC Horizon Hospital, Farrell, of heart failure.
Mr. Steverson was born July 23, 1920, in Douglasville, Ga., a son of Ethania and Mamie Fielder Steverson.
He worked at Sharon Steel Corp. in Farrell and was a member of the church and Twin City Elks 187 in Farrell.
His wife, the former Alice D. Williams, whom he married Sept. 23, 1944, died Sept. 21, 1997.
He leaves three daughters, Dorothy Young of Atlanta, Ga., Sandra Brown of Sharon and Janet Steverson of Bedford Heights; two sons, Clyde Jr. of Girard and Tony of Youngstown; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A daughter, Melody Steverson; two sisters, Dorothy Malloy and Anna Hall; and six brothers, Raymond, Ernest L. and Virgil and three infants, are deceased.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday in the church. Arrangements are by Shannon Funeral Home in Wheatland.
