XThe Boardman-Canfield Branch of the American Association of University Women will meet at 6:45 p.m. Wednesday at the Mahoning Experimental and Educational Farm, Route 46, across from the fairgrounds in Canfield. AUXILIARIES
XDistrict 8 Veterans of Foreign Wars and Auxiliary will conduct a hospital visit at 1 p.m. Sunday at Brecksville Veterans Administration Recreation Hall. Members are asked to donate cookies.
XA meeting of the Eagles Auxiliary of Austintown will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the aerie on Raccoon Road. Hostesses will be B.J. Dillon and Babe Spencer.
XEagles Auxiliary 213 of Youngstown will meet at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the club. Plans will be finalized for the bake sale and raffle to be held from 4 to 8 p.m. April 13 at the club.

XFriends of the Poland Library will meet at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Cunningham-Becker Family Center, Poland. Guest speaker will be Janet Lowe, director of communications and public relations for the Public Library Youngstown and Mahoning County. She will give an update on the progress of the construction of the new library. A program featuring reproductions of portraits of women at The Butler Institute of American Art will be given by Marge Walker, docent. Hostesses will be Gertrude Struble, Thelma Penman and Midge Walsh. The meeting is open to the public.

XTri-County UFO Study Group will hold a Big Foot Conference at 4 p.m. Saturday at Newcomerstown Middle School, 325 W. State St., Newcomerstown, with Don Keating in charge. Guests are welcome.

XA meeting of Canfield Republican Women will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Diamond Back Golf Course, Ellsworth, with Shirley Pitzer presiding. A program on "CASA -- Court Appointed Special Advocate Program," will be presented by Patti Fisher. Linda Myhal and Mary Ann Bryan are handling arrangements. RELIGIOUS GROUPS
XCourt St. Ann 1875, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, will meet Monday following noon Mass at Holy Name Church. Members are asked to take edible items for a pig-in-a-poke event and items for Beatitude House. Hostesses will be Dorothy Lafko and Theresa Ritter.
XHoly Name of Jesus Ladies Guild will meet at noon Tuesday at the school social hall with Margaret Bada presiding. Luncheon hostesses will be Mary Vitikas and Wilma Kutlick. Members will make Easter bread before and after the meeting. Bread also will be made Wednesday and Thursday.
XMcDonald Knights of Columbus will meet at 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at the K. of C. Hall, Illinois Avenue.
XThe Missionary Society of St. Andrewes A.M.E. Church will hold its "Pink Tea" program at 4 p.m. Sunday. A play, "Scenes From the Life of Jesus," will be presented with Judy Tarver directing.
XMothers of the Crucifix Society of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Youngstown will meet at 2 p.m. Sunday at the church with Caroline McCaffney presiding. Plans will be completed for a May 6 Feast Day dinner. Refreshments will be served.

XD.A.R.E. members will meet at 6:30 p.m. today at Movies 8. Bowling is planned for 8:30 p.m. Saturday at Boardman Lanes at a cost of $5 with a membership card and $8 without. A dance is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Choices in Liberty, cost $3 with card and $4 without. A new member meeting will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Boardman Christian Church.
XNew Millennium Singles will meet at 7:30 p.m. Sunday for the D.A.R.E. dance at Choice's in Liberty. There will be a $4 cover charge. The group will hold a business meeting from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Denny's in Niles. Those wanting dinner should meet at 6:30.
