WALTER J. NOVAK, 80



NEW CASTLE, Pa. -- Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in St. Mary Church, Mary Mother of Hope Parish, for Walter J. Novak, 80, of 2508 Wilmington Road, who died Tuesday night in Jameson Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Novak was born July 15, 1920, in Pittsburgh, a son of Joseph and Mary Novak. He was owner of Auto Seat Cover Center here.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion, SNPJ, and former member of the Optimist Club. He was a member of the church.
He leaves two daughters, Joanne Myers of New Castle and Monica Corry of Rockport, Texas; a son, Eugene of Oakmont, Pa.; three brothers, Henry, Ben and Francis, all of Pittsburgh; a sister, Josephine Wysocki of Pittsburgh; and three grandchildren.
A brother, Edward, is deceased.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at R. Cunningham Funeral Home. A procession to the church will leave the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
