POLAND -- Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home for Ruth Marian Doeright, 65, of 1653 South Ave., Niagara Falls, N.Y., formerly of Poland, who died Saturday evening in Joseph Brant Hospital, Burlington, Ontario, Canada, of complications from emphysema.
Miss Doeright was born Feb. 28, 1936, in Youngstown, a daughter of Gustave and Ruth Cardot Doeright. She moved to New York two years ago from Poland where she lived most of her life.
She was a member of the Order of White Shrine of Jerusalem, Messiah Shrine 18 and Sharon Shrine 8, both in New York; Ladies of Universal Craftsman Council of Engineer Kavalin, Council 10, Ransonville, N.Y.; Order of Eastern Star Flagler Chapter 355, Niagara Falls; Miriam Chapter 278, Ohio Supreme Council of Order of Amaranth, Cleveland Court 6 and Forsythia Court 172; Daughters of the American Revolution and Daughters Mokanna, both of Youngstown; and Aut Mori Daughters.
She leaves one son, Douglas Doeright of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two sisters, Esther Doeright of Gallipolis, Ohio, and Charlotte Crittenden of Chautauqua, N.Y.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A sister, Sarah Trammell, is deceased.
Friends may call one hour before the service at the funeral home.
